Ethical Operations

Wanner firmly believes that operating ethically is a cornerstone of efficient and profitable business management, and acknowledges that its success depends on the involvement, endeavour and commitment of everyone throughout the organisation.
Wanner employees are instructed and encouraged to maintain the highest standard of ethics and integrity in the conduct of the Company’s business. An open and fair culture is fostered throughout the organization and everyone’s views and contributions are respected. New employees are introduced to the Company’s culture and style through an induction process that actively supports the corporate strategy.

Sustainability

Wanner is committed to pursuing the highest standards of environmental performance. Responsibility for sustainability resides with the management and all employees.
European directives continue to be enacted that have beneficial effects on the environment. Current such directives, with which the Company complies, include the Restriction on use of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) Directive, the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation of use of Chemicals (REACh) Directive.

Health and Safety

Wanner is committed to providing high standards of safety in the working conditions for its employees and to the continual improvement of its health and safety (H&S) performance. The Company will minimise risk to employees by continuously evaluating the working environment. It is committed to providing employees with the necessary resources, equipment and training to carry out their tasks safely.
The management reviews the H&S performance of the Company’s operations on a regular basis.

Employees

Wanner management recognises that its employees are critical to the overall success of its business strategy. All employees are kept informed of progress against the Company’s strategic plan through regular presentations, at ‘business briefs’ and in face-to-face meetings with senior managers.
Relations with employees are based on respect in a working environment, where there is mutual trust and where everyone is accountable for their own actions and share responsibility for the performance and reputation of the Company.
